Be Part of ix42

Deploy an ix42 Route Server in your connected IX

Prerequisites

You need access to an IX with multiple dn42 participants and the capability to host a dedicated VM or container for the RS.

1

Assign an ASN

Allocate an ASN for the Route Server (either a private ASN or a dedicated dn42 ASN for IX services).

2

Configure the RS

Set up a robust BGP daemon (e.g., BIRD) using tools like Arouteserver. Enforce dn42 ROA checks, strict filtering, and max prefix limits.

Submit Information

Submit your RS details (IX name, dn42 support context, URL, official support status, RS ASN, IPs, port, peering policy, LG) to ix42 admins.
